By accessing or using RentWize ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Description of Service

RentWize is a documentation and organisational tool designed to help tenants in Australia track rental property maintenance, log communications, and organise evidence for tenancy matters. The Service does not constitute legal advice.

3. Not Legal Advice

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must be 18 years or older to use the Service
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter
  • You must not upload defamatory, false, or misleading content
  • You must not share another person's personal information without their consent
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

5. Defamation & Privacy Warning

You must not use RentWize to publish or share defamatory content about landlords, agents, or any other person. Sharing another person's personal information publicly without consent may breach Australian privacy law. RentWize is a private documentation tool — content you create is visible only to you unless you explicitly share it.

6. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
  • Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to RentWize. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to you as part of the Service. We retain all rights to the RentWize platform, brand, and underlying technology.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, RentWize and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss arising from reliance on information provided by the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Support Data Processing

When you contact RentWize support through our in-app messenger, your conversation may be processed by:

  • Intercom — our customer support platform (United States)
  • Linear — our internal issue tracking system (United States), used when your query is escalated to the engineering team

We send your name, email address, subscription tier, and the content of your support conversation. We do not send lease details, payment information, or property documentation to these tools.

Our Fin AI agent may respond automatically using our public knowledge base. No personally identifiable information is used to train Fin AI.

You may request deletion of your support conversation history by contacting support@rentwize.com.au. See our Privacy Policy for the full processor list and retention periods.
