Use the official TICA and National Tenancy Database (NTD) personal-access paths below. This information is free to read without an account or card. RentWize does not run a background check, order a report or submit identity documents.

TICA
Choose your state on TICA’s personal-access page, download the relevant application and follow its postal instructions. Check the current form for the details and identity evidence TICA requires. Submit these directly to TICA, not RentWize.
TICA lists limited free residential-database access for NSW and Victoria, subject to the conditions on its page. This is not the same as its paid full report or optional My TICA File monitoring subscription. Other state pathways may charge a fee. Check the selected form’s current scope, fee and response conditions before requesting.
TICA says a report is not emailed through the limited free pathway if that database holds no information. No email does not establish a clear rental history. RentWize does not determine whether you are listed.
National Tenancy Database (NTD / Equifax)
Equifax no longer offers its former Tenancy Check product. It directs private tenants to NTD’s Contact Us form. Select “Free personal report request” and describe your personal residential-report request in Comments. The form requires first name, last name, email, state and subject, plus CAPTCHA verification.
Equifax describes this personal residential report as free after identity verification. This is separate from agent screening products. Complete any identity verification directly with the provider. RentWize does not verify identity for this request, order a report or purchase a product.
Delivery depends on the provider and successful identity verification. Check its current instructions and timing; RentWize does not promise immediate access or calculate a legal deadline.
Request, check, follow up
- Request your own information through the official provider link. Confirm the current form, report scope, identity requirements, fee and response conditions. Keep a copy of what you submitted and the actual request date.
- Check the returned information against your own records. Identify the exact entry you believe is inaccurate and keep relevant supporting records. A missing response or missing entry is not a rental score or clearance.
- If information appears wrong, contact the provider through its official correction or complaints process. Explain the specific correction and retain its response. Follow current regulator guidance if the issue remains unresolved; RentWize does not submit a dispute or decide the outcome.
