1. Photograph each room before furniture covers walls, floors and fixtures.
2. Match each photo set to the condition report page for that room.
3. Note the date in the file or album name, not only in your memory.
4. Save the signed or acknowledged condition report with the photo set.
5. Add close-ups of any defect listed on the report, with a familiar object for scale.
6. Check the current condition report form and timing on the NSW Fair Trading site before you rely on this list.
