Tasmania Photo evidence guide

1. Take one wide photo from the doorway so the whole room is recognisable.
2. Photograph fittings that often get missed: taps, switches, windows, floors and smoke alarms you can see.
3. For a mark or fault, take a close photo with a familiar object in frame for scale.
4. If something changes, photograph it again and keep the earlier photo.
5. Name the album or file with the room and the date.
6. Store the set with the condition report or repair note, not only in a chat thread.
7. If your state uses a specific condition report layout, photograph against that form from Consumer, Building and Occupational Services, not a generic list.
